  Actress Soha Ali Khan has joined the cast of ‘Chhorii 2’. The film is a sequel to the 2021 Nushrratt Bharuccha-starrer ‘Chhorii’, which narrated the story of a pregnant woman (Sakshi – played by Nushrratt Bharuccha) haunted by the spirit of a woman, who was murdered by her in-laws. The sequel is set to pick up Sakshi’s story from where it left off in the first film and will bring back some key characters as well as introduce new characters and monsters, promising to be even more terrifying than the first edition. Talking about entering the ‘Chhorii’ universe, Soha Ali Khan said, “I am thrilled to join the cast and be a part of the world of ‘Chhorii’. The role that I play in ‘Chhorii 2’ is truly unique and a significant departure from the work I have previously been a part of. I really enjoyed the first edition of ‘Chhorii’, and am excited to up the horror quotient in this edition.”

  Dharma Productions is set to release its Sidharth Malhotra-led action film  Yodha  in theatres on July 7, 2023. The movie is directed by debutant duo Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre. Filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Shashank Khaitan’s Mentor Disciple Films have bankrolled the film. It was earlier supposed to release on November 11 this year. The makers announced the release date of Yodha in a press note, which read, “Sidharth Malhotra’s #Yodha to release on 7th July 2023 in cinemas.” Yodha, produced by Hiroo Johar,  Karan Johar , Apoorva Mehta and Khaitan, also features Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani. Raashi, as readers would know, is also celebrating her birthday today.

  Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has wrapped up a schedule for  Dunki  in Saudi Arabia. SRK took to Instagram to share a video of himself in a desert, and thanked the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Culture for the picturesque locations and warm hospitality. Shah Rukh captioned his video, “A very big Shukran to #SaudiArabiaMinistryOfCulture, the team and all who made this shoot schedule of #Dunki so smooth…” In the video, Shah Rukh Khan says, “There’s nothing more satisfying than completing a shooting schedule, as is Dunki in Saudi. Thank you for giving us such spectacular locations and the warm hospitality. I want to thank Raju sir and the rest of the cast and crew….a very big Shukran to you all.   Judge Vivian Polanía has previously faced controversy over her racy Instagram posts A Colombian judge known for sharing racy photos on her Instagram page has been suspended for three months after appearing on a  virtual Zoom meeting  while half-naked and smoking a cigarette in bed.  In a 33-second clip circulating on  social media , the 34-year-old judge, Vivian Polanía, can be seen lounging in bed, appearing half-awake while taking a drag from a cigarette. At one point in the hearing, a prosecutor tells Polanía that her camera is on, and she immediately turns it off as the hearing continues, local media reported.

  Vikram Gokhale, who started his acting journey on the Marathi stage, went on to make his mark in Hindi films. He passed away on Saturday. Veteran actor  Vikram Gokhale  passed away on Saturday following multi organ failure. The 77-year-old actor breathed his last at the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune, where he had been undergoing treatment since November 5. His remains will be taken to Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir and last rites will be performed at Vaikunth. “This is to confirm that Mr Vikram Gokhale passed away this afternoon. We would like to thank everyone for their good wishes, support and prayers through this difficult time,” his daughter said. On Saturday morning, the hospital released a statement saying that the actor’s health had “slightly deteriorated” but he continued to be on ventilator support.
