When we talk about show business, there is a saying that people use which goes like, ‘joh dikhta hai, woh bikta hai’ which loosely translates into saying ‘what is seen, is sold’.
Now, when you apply that to the Bollywood film industry, it puts a lot of pressure on the celebrities to keep a check on just their performances and acting but also their appearances.
And while most people preach that one needs to accept themselves with all their flaws, there are a few celebs who have ‘allegedly’ succumbed to that pressure of looking a certain way.

1) Katrina Kaif
A lot of hue and cry was created around Katrina Kaif’s looks not once or twice but several times, including recently when he posted a video on her Instagram account.
The actress has been speculated to go under the knife before as well, and so when the recent video came out, fans suspected that she was going back to looking like her original self.
2) Shanaya Kapoor
While the young star kid is yet to make her debut in Bollywood, she was picked apart not long ago for her supposed cosmetic surgery.
Certain ‘before and after’ picture collages were shared on social media alleging that the Starkid has gotten major work done to her face.
3) Janhvi Kapoor
Late actress Sridevi and Bollywood director Boney Kapoor’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor has also been trolled by fans repeatedly for her alleged cosmetic surgeries.
In fact, there have also been claims that Janhvi has gone under the knife to make changes to her body as well, comparing her to the likes of Kim Kardashian.
4) Samantha Ruth Prabhu
South sensation Samantha Prabhu was also recently called out by fans after one of her ad films was released.
Fans argued that the South actress has gotten work done on her face which made her seem completely different from what she looked like when she started out in the industry.
5) Nysa Devgan
Another star-kid who technically hasn’t entered the industry, but was nonetheless brutally trolled by netizens for an alleged change in her appearance.
Trolls made claims of Nysa’s alleged cosmetic surgery, of which a few even suggested that she had undergone a skin-lightening procedure.
